5 Reasons to Invest in Yourself and Work with a Coach

Have you ever worked with a Coach before? If you have, then you know that the results are powerful, but if you haven’t, you might be wondering: what does a Coach do? How can they help me? And will they really advance me forward in the ways they are promising?

I had all of these same thoughts before working with my first Coach, and now, three years and three Coaches later, I can confidently say that investing in both myself and their services was the best thing I did for my life & career. I had big dreams of getting to where I am today, as an Entrepreneur and Coach myself, and am confident that the relationships with my Coaches, coupled with my commitment to personal and professional growth, are what made it all possible. And I want the same life-changing experience for you!

A Coach can be helpful in many ways, and I am going to share with you my top 5 reasons to invest in yourself and your future by working with a Coach.

  1. They have a unique area of expertise - Career Coaches, Life Coaches, Health Coaches, oh my! The coaching industry is booming and it’s likely that you’ve seen many different types of coaches marketing their services to you. Each type of Coach will have a unique area of expertise, based on their training and experience, and can help advance you forward in that specific area. If you’re considering working with a Coach, take time to understand their background and how they can help you achieve the results you’re looking for.

  2. They help hold you accountable - If you are someone who prefers having external accountability, a relationship with a Coach will be great for you! In my Coaching program, I assign Coaching Challenges & Reflection Questions so that you can continue to dig deep and work through some of the big topics we discuss in our 1:1 sessions. Having assignments in the specific areas where you’re looking to grow and develop helps you stay committed to reaching your goals.

  3. They offer feedback and a perspective outside of your own - Your thoughts become the stories you tell yourself over and over again, and consistently thinking those same thoughts can make it really hard think anything new! When working with a Coach, they can offer you a perspective outside of your own and introduce you to ideas that you may not have arrived at on your own. This is done through asking a series of questions with the goal of helping you see things in a new way and gaining clarity to arrive at the best path forward for you.

  4. They help maximize your potential - A Coach is the ultimate resource for personal and professional development because they are going to push you outside of your comfort zone to reach your maximum potential. Often times, we can get in our own way and a Coach will help you to push past those limiting beliefs to achieve more.

  5. Because you are ready to take action - If you’re feeling stuck, or if you feel like you’ve been running on a hamster wheel while going nowhere, you will absolutely benefit from working with a Coach. Coaching is all about moving forward with confidence and if you’re ready to start doing so, a Coach can help you get there.

Because of all these reasons, when you say yes to working with a Coach, you’re not just investing in them. You’re also investing in yourself and your future. And that makes it all the more worth it.
